1- Why University Habilitation? 

University habilitation allows its holder to:

  • Attain the rank of Professor Lecturer, Grade A

  • Supervise doctoral theses

  • Direct research projects

  • Lead a research team

2- Eligible Candidates for University Habilitation:

  Candidates for university habilitation are faculty researchers or permanent researchers who meet        the following conditions:

  • Have been actively engaged in higher education and scientific research for at least three years.

  • Hold the rank of Professor Lecturer, Grade B or Research Professor, Grade B.

  • Have obtained, at least one year prior, a Doctorate in Sciences, a Doctorate under the LMD system, or an equivalent degree.
